Latest news of Coronavirus from KOAS Corp. in China

This is H. SAIMA, General Manager of Changzhou KOAS CORPORATION located Jiangsu,
Changzhou, reports China situation on March 5th.

I am still in head quarter in Japan and collecting information of China coronavirus
by communicating with our staff in Changzhou.

Today, I’d like to share the latest situation in Changzhou City, Jiangsu province,
China and our KOAS operation.
There seems no new infected person for more than 10 consecutive days in Changzhou City.
Currently, visitors from Japan are on a 14-days quarantine to prevent infection.
Some business travelers are allowed to be in the office if PCR or CT inspection test is negative
after 6 days of quarantine but it should be different from the region.

【Citizen Life】(Not all areas)

・Must wear surgical masks + thermometry each entrances

・Without Health Certificate Application(data of thermometry), not allowed to visit customers.

・Continuously curtailed Subway and BRT operations

・Prohibited eating and drinking in the store (Take out and home delivery service available at very few stores)

・Elementary , Junior High and High School are still closed.

・Most people are afraid of infection and refrain from going out except for commuting

【KOAS Corp.】

・Restart from February 24th ( half of employee)

・All staffs start working from March 5th.

・Our staffs are afraid of infection, so they use colleague’s car or electric bike.

・Shipment also restarted.  China domestic logistics are not influenced, 

KOAS ship to shanghai port smoothly and custom clearance is no problem at the moment.
Although we need to wait and see about the shipment toward JAPAN from China
since it is just a few days we got back.

It took 1 month to be back for the business even some activities are limited.
We will strive for employee health and infection prevention.
