Stainless steel raw material makers
Here, in Japan, are several stainless steel raw material manufactures.
I know many countries do not have raw material makers so they must
import these materials.
We as Japanese fastener manufactures have long history of stainless steel
production, so we have so many kinds of non-standard stainless steel material
available which are immediate delivery from stock.
It looks like standard material in Japan.
DAIDO STEEL is the one of the major raw material players in Japan.
DSR*** , starting from DSR*** means DAIDO’s brand materials, so you can
find lots of very special materials.
You may also try Nippon Steel or others.
【YUS550】
This is Martensitic stainless steel material and can be heat treated.
Usually Martensitic stainless steel has much lower corrosion performance than
Austenitic stainless steel (like A2, 18-8).
But YUS550 products have same corrosion performance as A2, ANSI304 stainless.
